Wirral has been issued further yellow weather warnings for snow and ice.
Temperatures are set to drop to just 2C during the early hours of Tuesday bringing a risk of snow and ICE.
Snow and ICE is expected from 6 pm to 10 am on Tuesday which could lead to travel disruption and icy roads on untreated surfaces.
Ice is likely to form on untreated surfaces especially where showers move well inland.

The Met Office say: “Some of the showers will be wintry and could produce 2 to 5 cm lying snow above 250 metres, mostly over the Pennines and North York Moors where up to 10 cm is possible.
“Elsewhere, most places will see little or no snow, but a slight covering of a centimetre or so is possible in a few places.”
