This amazing drone footage shows a lost shipwreck off the Wirral Coast.

The wreck of SS Denham is revealed at low tide and was captured by local filmmaker

Built in 1942 the Denham was a small survey vessel based in Liverpool which struck a mine off the coast of Wallasey in 1946.

During the war mines were placed to protect the Wirral’s coastline, but one year into peacetime the SS Denham struck one of these mines and exploded.

Tragically the vessel sank and took the lives of 8 men but one survived.
