Paul Curtis who painted the famous Liver Bird wings onto a brick wall in the Baltic Triangle has transformed part of New Ferry high street.
His new artwork sits above a row of businesses on Bebington Road, which features a stunning image of a beach and wildlife.
Paul said on his facebook page: “A version of this project was first proposed about 18 months ago but there was some opposition to having street art.
“To be honest, I had somewhat given up on it following the some of the objections – I didn’t want to upset anyone.
“It was thanks to the perseverance of Simon Crabtree and Mark Craig that kept this on the table and eventually made it happen.
“Full credit to them. Also the project would never have happened if it wasn’t for the extremely kind donation of the cherry picker from www.rflifting.co.uk.“
