Wirral could see the hottest temperatures of 2020 so far in the coming week.
Warm air will return towards the middle of the week sending temperatures soaring.
By Wednesday the Met Office say that Wirral will have temperatures of 25C.
And BBC Weather say that by Thursday temperatures will rocket to over 27C making it hotter than Tenerife.
UV and pollen levels are expected to be very high through the week so protecting yourself and others from the sun will be important.
A forecaster at the BBC said: “On Tuesday, a largely cloudy start with spots of drizzle but it will become drier and sunnier later.
“It will feel warmer. Wednesday will be a fine day with a good deal of summer sunshine.
“It will feel rather warm in gentle south-easterly winds. By Thursday, there will be often dry conditions with plenty of sunshine but sharp showers may break out later in the day. Rather warm”.
