This stunning picture from space shows the scale of a storm that is heading for the UK on Friday.
An area of low pressure will bring strong winds, thunderstomrs and heavy rain.
Much of the country is on rain, thunderstorm and wind warnings through Friday and Satruday.
Merseyside will see the heavy rain arrive through Friday with 30mm forecast to fall in some areas, which could lead to some flooding.
Strong winds will arrive through Saturday and with gusts reaching up to 50 mph which could cause some large waves at our coasts.
Neil Armstrong, Chief Meteorologist at the Met Office said: “This low-pressure system will bring challenging conditions, including unseasonably strong winds and heavy rain, from the west during Friday and Saturday.
Summer storms – compared with those in autumn and winter – always have the potential to create additional impacts because more people are likely to be outdoors, especially by the coast.
Additionally with trees in full leaf they are more vulnerable to being brought down by strong winds.”
