Stargazers will be in for an early Easter treat tonight as the Pink Moon will be visible.
Despite no colour change it’s called the pink moon because it is in reference to an early-blooming wildflower, which starts to pop up in the US and Canada at the start of spring.
The full moon will shine in all its glory tonight and will be visible as there’s no cloud forecast for Merseyside and will peak at around 12:12pm.
The Pink moon is significant because it is the first full moon after the spring equinox.
