Warmer air has spread up from the continent and is delivering some beautiful weather across Merseyside.
Good Friday is predicted to be one of the warmest on record and the hottest day of the year.
Temperatures of over 21C are forecast for Merseyside with plenty of clear spells.
Some parts of the south could see the mercury creep past the 25C mark.
How long will it last?
Sun worshippers will be in for a treat as forecasters predict the warm weather is here to stay for at least another three days.
The stunning weather is set to continue right through the Easter weekend and Bank Holiday Monday.
Tuesday will also see warm temperatures but with the risk of more cloud, as Wednesday approaches so does the cooler weather.
Wednesday will see temperatures fall back down to 15C and there’s a risk of showers for the rest of the week until Friday.
The Met Office say Saturday will be “another fine and very warm day with long spells of hazy sunshine and light winds. A little cooler around the coasts. Maximum temperature 24 °C.”
They added that Easter Weekend will be “Staying fine, mostly sunny and very warm. Sunshine will sometimes be hazy, particularly on Sunday. A touch breezier on Monday.”
