Merseyside could see the hottest temperatures of the year during Bank Holiday Easter Weekend

Great forecast for the next few days

Colder air from Scandinavia resulted in chillier temperatures last weekend, but one week on and there’s a huge improvement.

Warmer air from the continent will arrive by the end of the week which will raise temperatures to over 20C mark.

With no cloud forecast the weather will feel very pleasant and so slapping on some sun cream will be needed.

And there’s more good news, the sunny easter weekend weather is set to coninue into the new week with Monday and Tuesday all forecast to see further warm temperatures of over 20C.

The Met Office say: “A warm and sunny day on Friday with plenty of sunshine. The sunshine could turn hazy at times under veils of high cloud. Maximum temperature 22 °C.

“Staying fine and dry over the next few days with lots of warm sunshine. Winds will be light over the weekend, but Monday could be a little breezier.”
