Warm temperatures are set to return to Merseyside for the start of this week.
Temperatures will creep up to 18C on Monday making it hotter than the Spanish town of Madrid.
Sunny spells will make the weather feel more like spring as temperatures build during Monday afternoon.
The Met Office say: “Early low cloud quickly burning back to the east, leaving many fine and dry with plenty of sunshine.
“Remaining dry in the north during the afternoon, but a few heavy showers or thunderstorms may develop across the south.
“Feeling warm. Maximum temperature 18 °C.”
However, from Tuesday the weather will begin to get cooler as the week progresses as colder air arrives.
The rest of the weeks temperatures will average around 10C with the reutn of nightime frosts.
The Met Office said that the rest of the week will be “Largely dry and settled throughout the rest of the working week, with a mix of cloud and spells of sunshine.
“Feeling colder, with a risk of nighttimes frosts.”
