Merseyside is in for a wet and windy weekend as areas of low pressure hit the region.
Forecasters are warning that heavy rain and strong winds will impact the area mostly during the second half of the weekend.
The strongest of winds will hit Merseyside through Sunday when gusts could reach over 50 mph.
Forecasts suggest that gusts of 52 mph will hit the region at around 2pm on Sunday afternoon.
Some areas could see snow as parts have been issued a severe weather warning for snow.
The Met Office expect that some areas could see 1-2cm of snow overnight on Saturday and into Sunday.
Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.
Although weather warnings have been issued, most parts are expected to see no snow at all, with most falling over higher areas.
The Met Office say: “Further rain will push across all parts during the morning, with snow over hills.
“This will clear by lunchtime, but then heavy, blustery showers arrive through the afternoon.”
