The spectacular event which saw giants road the streets of Liverpool and Wirral over three days was the regions largest ever free vent.
1.3 million visitors flocked to the region to watch the giants beating the amount of people that came to watch the three Queens event in 2015, which attracted 1.2m.
Liverpool council said it generated £61m for the local economy which has “smashed” predictions.
75% of visitors were from the Liverpool City Region and the wider North West, with 22% travelling from elsewhere around the UK and 3% were overseas tourists.
National Museum Liverpool’s waterfront venues welcomed 54,092 visitors across the four days – a 108% increase on 2017.
