After what is expected to be a mostly cloudy Saturday, the weather will warm up through Sunday.
The sunshine will return through Sunday allowing temperatures to build and on Merseyside thermometers will reach into the mid 20s.
The Met Office say: “Any early mist soon clearing, then another dry day with plenty of sunshine and just some fair weather cloud developing from time to time.
“Generally a little warmer than Saturday. Maximum temperature 26 °C.”

As the new week progresses the weather will cool back down, meaning the the return in warm temperatures will be brief.
Their forecast reads: “More warm sunshine at first on Monday, but generally becoming cloudier with some showery rain later in the day.
“Cooler, breezier and fresher on Tuesday and Wednesday, with further showers.”
