Pictures on social media showed police three fire engines on scene as firefighters used beaters to put out the blaze.
A large area of scorched grass has been left after the fire was extinguished.
On Sunday night another fire broke out in the same area and residents sent us video as the flames took hold.
Recent hot weather has contributed to the fires as the areas are very dry due to lack of rain and high temperatures.
