The Met Office have confirmed that hot temperatures are set to bake Merseyside and the rest of the country next week.
The weather will be hotter than average for the time of year and it’s all thanks to high pressure sitting above the country.
Temperatures are set to reach 30C across UK which will result in people flocking to beaches right across Merseyside.

The Met Office say: “The final week of June will see plenty of dry and sunny weather across most of the UK, with only the far north and northwest seeing cloudier skies at times, with occasional rain.
“With the fine weather, temperatures will continue to rise for all parts, but especially so in the south where it could turn hot.”
Those that love the hot weather are in for a treat, as forecasters expect that as the high pressure moves away towards then end of the month even warmer air could be dragged towards the country.
If this is the case then temperatures will be very very hot for the time of year and could reach well above 30C in some areas of the country.
