The tall ships left Liverpool on Bank Holiday Monday which was watched by thousands lining the banks of the River Mersey.
People flocked to the coast to watch the event on what was a glorious day for weather across the region as temperatures reached 25C.
New Brighton beach was packed with beach goers soaking up the sun as the three day tall ships event came to an end.

The race started 13 miles out in the Liverpool bay and the ships will head on to Ireland and France.
