After a stunning Bank Holiday Monday when temperatures reached 25C, Merseyside is to enjoy another day of scorching sunshine on Tuesday.
Thousands flocked to the coast on Bank Holiday Monday to soak up the sun and to enjoy the tall ships event on the River Mersey.
And the beautiful weather is set to continue throughout Tuesday when similar temperatures to Monday are expected.

However, don’t expect it to last all week, from Wednesday forecasters expect the cloud and rain to return, meaning a drop in temperatures.
There could be the odd spell of sunshine, but forecasts are pointing to an increase in cloud with the risk of thunderstorms on each day of the week.
The Met Office say: “Staying warm with sunny spells at times. It will feel humid in the sunshine and there is a risk of thundery showers developing each day”.
Thunderstorms briefly hit the region over the weekend when some areas of Merseyside saw heavy downpours, thunder and lightning.
