The warm weather is also expected to continue into Bank Holiday Monday, although temperatures will be slightly down than the weekend.

However, there could be a few rumbles of thunder on Tuesday as the warm weather comes to a dramatic end, the rest of the week will be much cooler with temperatures down into the high teens.

The Met Office say: “Mostly dry and very warm through the Bank Holiday and into Tuesday with plenty of sunshine.

“The odd shower may develop in the south, but most will be dry”.
