The warmer weather is set to return once again after a cool and wetter start to the week.
High pressure will build over the UK as the Bank Holiday weekend approaches with warmer air being dragged from the Azores.

This would put Ibiza Majorca and the Costa Del Sol in the shade as those parts of the world struggle to reach above the 20C mark as unsettled weather batters the region.
Locally on Merseyside it will be slightly cooler than the south as temperatures will peak at 16C over the Bank Holiday, although it will still feel warm in the sunshine.
Forecaster Sarah Sammy, of The Weather Channel, said: “It will be a mostly warm and sunny bank holiday weekend for most, with showers edging in from the north-west over western Scotland and western Ireland.

“Initially, periods of increased cloudiness are expected across the British Isles with a few brighter spells at times, but by Sunday, longer sunny periods are anticipated.
“Along western coasts, winds will be gusty and during the afternoons, a few isolated showers may pop up, sometimes further inland.
“Overnight on Sunday, and into Monday, Ireland can expect some light showers. However later on, and across Britain, partly cloudy daytime conditions will prevail, with the risk of light showers in some areas.”
