After the hottest weather during April for 70 years, there’s a dramatic change in the weather on the cards.
Temperatures hit a scorching 28C in parts of London, making not only the hottest of the year, but the hottest temperatures in April since 1949.
Cooler air will return the UK making temperatures drop and bringing back the more unsettled weather.

Temperatures will average around 11C for the week and heavy rain is set to return.
A weather front will track across the UK bringing a lot of heavy rain to Merseyside throughout Tuesday.
The unsettled weather could lead to a few rumbles of thunder and flashes of lightning in some areas.

The Met Office say: “A mixture of sunshine and showers, these frequent and heavy for many with a risk of hail and thunder.
“Feeling cool and often windy, although winds easing down by Friday”.
