Temperatures are set to warm up this week as air from Spain pushes further north over the UK.
Today will see the mercury reach over 20C in some areas with plenty of warm sunny spells.
This week will see the hottest temperatures of the year with the UK being hotter than parts of Europe.

Spain and Italy will only manage temperatures in the low 20’s while parts of the south bask in 25C temperatures.
The warm weather is expected to at least last for five days as the warm air holds its grip.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday will see glorious sunshine and warm conditions on Merseyside.
Although the weather will be warm throughout Sunday there is a risk of the wet weather returning, as thunderstorms could lead to a breakdown in the warm conditions.
Next week will see temperatures dip back into the low double figures on Merseyside.

The Met Office forecast for the region reads: “A cloudy start to the day on Wednesday with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, especially over the hills.
“Skies will brighten from the south through late morning to give all areas a sunny and warm afternoon. Despite this, it will be breezy. Maximum temperature 22 °C.
“Generally fine and warm on Thursday with plenty of sunny spells. Coastal areas may be cooler at times with sea breezes bringing areas of mist and fog onshore. Maximum temperature 21 °C.
“Fine, sunny and warm on Friday and Saturday with sea breezes by day. Turning more unsettled later Saturday and into Sunday with a risk of heavy, thundery showers”.
