There were a few showers around for the start of Ladies Day but the weather soon dried out.
Grand National Day should feel warmer and may even include the odd spell of sunshine.
GND Weather
Early low cloud and fog patches will clear to leave a dry day with some sunshine, the best of this in the afternoon.
Winds will be light and it will feel warmer than yesterday with temperatures around temperature 15 °C.
The Met Office say that the greatest chances of sunshine points to around 4pm, around main race time, when the weather will feel its warmest.
After a dull and damp few days at #Aintree the weather for the #GrandNational this afternoon is looking dry and bright ⛅️. It will also be feeling warmer especially in any sunshine pic.twitter.com/KsdCXIdnkD
