Stargazers will have the perfect chance to spot Jupiter this April across Merseyside.
The chances of spotting the gas giant will obviously depend on the weather, as you will need a clear night for a perfect view.

If you do head out on a clear night then the planet will be visible for most of the night across the UK, with it being at its highest point in the sky around 3:30am.
Jupiter will appear as the brightest star in the sky and if you have a telescope, then heading away from any city areas so light pollution doesn’t spoil your view will give you the best opportunity of spotting it.
