Winds will also be strong, gusting at around 40mph through Saturday, this means that the actual feel of the weather will be closer to -6C, making it a very bitter day to be out near the coasts.
Will Merseyside see snow ?
Merseyside is currently not on a severe weather warning, but there is a small chance that the region could see some snow over the weekend.
Most of the east of England will see the heaviest, but as winds push the snowfall further west, this could lead to Merseyside seeing a light dusting through Sunday morning.
