The Environment Agency has revealed that two thirds of drivers would drive through flood water.
The shocking statistic was taken from a survey of 18,000 drivers conducted by the AA.
Even though driving through flood waters is the number one cause of death during a flood, it seems a lot of drivers still take that risk getting to their destination during extreme weather.
Since 2013, the AA has rescued more than 14,500 drivers from floods.

The survey also revealed that two thirds of cars driven through flood water are written off and 72% of men would risk driving through dangerous water compared to 60% of women.
The Environment Agency said: “If you find your way blocked by flood water, never take the risk – turn around and find another way.”
