Merseyside will see a very wet weekend this week, as weather fronts track across the region, bringing heavy rain and strong winds.
Saturday will see the worst of the weather as rain is forecast throughout most of the day and winds will be gusting at around 40mph.
However, temperatures will be back into double figures during the weekend, making it feel much more milder than recently.
Sunday will see the best of the weather, as it will be mostly dry with winds much calmer, temperatures will be at a mild 12C.

The Met Office say: “Rain, strong winds and milder air will soon arrive.
“As rain clears later, sunny spells will develop. Winds will strengthen further, reaching gale-force on coasts and hills.
“Sunday will be mild, windy and rather cloudy with occasional rain. Rain on Monday will clear later, to be followed by cooler brighter weather. Rain will return late on Tuesday”.
