This video shows fog rolling in off the River Mersey as seen from the Radio City tower.
Thick fog has blanketed the region for most of yesterday and today and visibility was severely reduced in some areas.

The fog is expected to lift this afternoon, however, cloud will still linger, with temperatures remaining in double figures.
By Christmas Day will see the wet weather return, which could be heavy at times.
The weather all feel chillier by boxing day, as temperatures will fall down to 6C, with rain being present through most of the day.
The Met Office say: “Christmas Day will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain, heavy at times. Boxing Day and Wednesday will be drier and brighter with some sunshine, and it will feel colder”.
