Temperatures are set to stay in double figures this week on Merseyside.

As Christmas approaches the milder weather will continue and it will feel less chilly than over recent weeks.

Temperatures are set to average around 11C all week, as milder winds from the west bring a mix of wet and cloudy conditions with a much bearable feel to weather.

This theme looks to continue into next week too, meaning the chance of a white Christmas is almost impossible for Merseyside.

Instead, early forecasts for Christmas Day are pointing to double figure temperatures, with a mix of some bright spells and cloud.

The Met Office say: “Mainly settled with light winds, but cloudy skies and some rain possible at times”.

“A few brighter breaks are likely too, and by Saturday it will turn windier. Generally mild”.
