Merseyside is under an amber weather warning for Sunday as heavy snow is predicted to affect the region.
The volume of snow could lead to severe travel problems such as cancellations, delays and even some parts of rural communities being cut off, warn the Met Office.
When will the worst snow hit ?
The Amber weather warning is in place from 4am to 6pm on Sunday, as a weather front containing heavy rain will clash with colder air above the country, turning to snow.
But the worst of the snow is expected to hit Merseyside around 7am on Sunday morning, lasting until around 3pm.

10-20cm on snow could affect Merseyside during this period as the snow blasts in, although some more northerly areas may see a lighter dusting.
The weather will also be very cold, as freezing temperatures will be at 0C all day, meaning any snow that does fall, has a high chance of sticking.
The Met Office say: “A spell of snow is expected over a central swathe of the UK on Sunday.
“This snow starts to develop during the early hours of Sunday with the heaviest and most persistent snow then likely during Sunday morning.
“10 cm looks likely quite widely within this warning area, with 15-20 cm in places”.
