This amazing time-lapse footage shows todays snow blasting into Liverpool City Centre.
Filmed from the Radio City tower by Radio City presenter Rick Houghton the video reveals how snow clouds covered the whole city.
Snow fell during some of the day, but it was short lived and nothing compared to what some further inland areas of the country witnessed.
However, on Sunday Merseyside is expected to see very heavy snowfall as the Met Office has issued the region an Amber severe weather warning.

As a band of rain spreads eastwards on Sunday and bumps into cold air, it will readily turn to snow across parts of the country. Yellow and amber snow warnings are in force – stay #weatherawarepic.twitter.com/xLIfJRyZ9U

The weather warning is in place from 4am to 6pm on Sunday, as a weather front containing heavy rain will clash with colder air above the country, turning to snow.
The weather is expected to get very wintry across the region, with the Met Office confident that heavy snow will affect Merseyside.
Staggering forecast for Merseyside for Sunday. Not surprised an amber warning has been issued. #uksnow#snowpic.twitter.com/ILy5s0i9sl

A forecaster at the Met Office said: “A band of rain, heavy at times, is expected to move eastwards over the UK. With cold air in place, a spell of heavy snow looks likely to develop on its northern edge.
“10 cm looks likely quite widely within the warning area, with 15-20 cm in places. There is increasing certainty in the track and location of the heaviest snow”.
