The rest of the week will see a mix of sunshine and showers, with temperatures feeling chilly.
Arctic air still has the UK in its grasp and by bonfire night temperatures will have dipped to just 8C.
It’ll be quite breezy on Merseyside too, with temperatures feeling closer to nippy 5C, so it will be worth wrapping you and the kids up if you’re heading to a display on Merseyside.

Sunday daytime will also see a risk of showers but these should clear by 6pm as displays start to kick off on Wirral, leaving a dry and clear night.
The Met Office say: “Feeling colder through the weekend. Sunny spells and showers are likely throughout Saturday, but showers easing on Sunday.
“A cold, dry and bright start to Monday with rain possible later”.
