What will the weather be like this Halloween on Merseyside ?

Whether you’re heading out to trick or treat with the kids or going to a spooky party, we have the all important weather forecast so you are all prepared.

The good news is that forecasts currently predict that the 31st October is set to be cloudy but dry, which is welcome news to those that may be taking the kids out.

However, it will probably be worth wrapping up as temperatures will be on the chilly side.

Temperatures are predicted to be around 14C, but as the evening arrives temperatures will be around 11C.

The reason for the slightly chillier weather is due to northern winds from the Arctic sinking south over the UK.

This has brought temperatures colder for the time of year, with night time temperatures set to dip as low as just 3C in the early hours of Monday morning.

The Met Office say:” After a bright and frosty morning with some good sunny spells, cloud cover will increase from the west for the afternoon with some rain possible later.

“A rather cloudy, at times breezy, period on Tuesday and Wednesday with some spells of rain and milder temperatures.”

“Turning drier and brighter with light winds on Thursday”.
