Storm Brian battered parts of Britain yesterday and throughout last night bringing gusts huge gusts to some areas.
Parts of wales and Ireland saw heavy coastal flooding which closed roads and cancelled ferry crossings.
The Isle of Wight recorded a huge gust of 84 mph and 78 mph being recorded in North Wales.
On Merseyside gusts near 60 mph battered the region with heavy rain, this made some landings at Liverpool John Lennon airport tricky for pilots.

Winds are expected to remain quite strong throughout the rest of today, making it not the best days to spend near the coast.

The Met Office say: “A cloudy morning with some persistent, and at times heavy, rain for some.
“The rain will ease through the morning with some brighter and sunnier spells developing. Strong winds, especially along Irish Sea coasts, will ease slowly through the day”.
