On Thursday the Met Office placed Merseyside on a severe weather warning for heavy rain and warned of strong winds.
72 hours later and the warnings have been removed from the Merseyside area as forecasters believe that the worst of the weather will not affect the region.
However, winds will still be strong and the rain will still be very heavy on Merseyside this weekend.
