This weekend will be feeling cooler than recently on Merseyside, with the risk of some showers.
The cooler feel to the weather is thanks to air from the Arctic filtering down over the UK, temperatures will feel chillier than usual.

Although temperatures will average around 15C, it will feel closer to 13C due to the breezy winds, with nighttime temperatures dipping to 11C.
And there is some good news, even though there’s a risk of rain, there will be some sunny spells through the weekend, with Sunday expected to see the best of the sunshine.

The Met Office say: “Sunshine and heavy showers on Saturday but winds will ease.
“Turning drier thereafter with showers becoming more isolated, more in the way of sunshine, and feeling warmer in lighter winds”.
