Temperatures are set to heat up this week on Merseyside but there could be storms on the way after the hotter weather.
Warmer air from Spain is set to increase temperatures to around 25C on Tuesday.

However, the warmer weather could come to a dramatic end on Wednesday as unsettled weather from the south west will arrive.
This could lead to heavy downpours and thunderstorms across the region.
The Met Office issued Merseyside a yellow warning for heavy thundery rain on Wednesday.
The rest of the week will feel cooler and by Friday the weather will see further unsettled weather, with rain and windier weather.

The Met Office say: “Tuesday will see another fine day, although there will be a little more cloud around.
“However, becoming very warm and increasingly humid through the day.
“Very warm on Wednesday with some thundery rain.
“Thereafter, becoming fresher on Thursday with sunny spells, before stronger winds and some rain arrives during Friday”.
