Drone footage shows the Queen Elizabeth leaving Liverpool to a spectacular firework display

Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth cruise liner has made a stop in Liverpool yesterday and it left to a spectacular firework display.

The mid-river firework display started at around 10:15pm as the city waved it off to its next stop.

Drone users filmed the last nights stunning event from many angles, which you can watch on in this article.

Hundreds of people turned out for the event before the ship headed off for St Peter Port in Guernsey.

Queen Elizabeth is the second largest ship constructed for Cunard, exceeded only by Queen Mary 2, and is capable of carrying up to 2,092 passengers.
