Stunning footage shows the red arrows flying over Liverpool during Armed Forces Day

It’s armed forces day in Liverpool and to celebrate the city is hosting events right across the waterfront.

A parade through the city centre marked the occasion at 11am before the thousands packed the waterfront to watch the red arrows fly above.

We’ve grabbed some of the best footage from social media in case you missed the spectacular fly past:

At 11am there was a typhoon flypast and at 1:50pm there will be a battle of Britain flypast and at 4pm there will be wildcat flypast.
