It’s armed forces day in Liverpool and to celebrate the city is hosting events right across the waterfront.
A parade through the city centre marked the occasion at 11am before the thousands packed the waterfront to watch the red arrows fly above.

At 11am there was a typhoon flypast and at 1:50pm there will be a battle of Britain flypast and at 4pm there will be wildcat flypast.
