Met Office warns of VERY HIGH pollen levels this week on Merseyside

The Met Office pollen count is set to be very high this week on Merseyside.

This wont be good news for hay fever sufferers, the Met Office expects that pollen levels will be at their highest levels on Tuesday and Wednesday.

As well as being VERY HIGH midweek, the rest of the week wont be much better, as pollen levels will remain at high throughout.

Hayfever affects one in five people in the UK and causes symptoms such as runny nose, itchy eyes and sneezing.

Pollen is a tiny powder produced by some trees, grasses and weeds. It is spread by insects and the wind.
