After a wet start to the week which saw Merseyside issued severe weather warnings for heavy rain, the damp theme is set to continue.
The change in Jet Stream position means our weather will come from a more westerly direction, which means more unsettled weather.
Merseyside is expected to see rain throughout the week, as a series of weather fronts bringing rain and strong winds hit the region.
Strong gusts are expected to arrive in the early hours of Tuesday thanks to an area of low pressure and will batter the region through Tuesday, which could reach over 50mph at times.

The Met Office say: “Rain will gradually ease and clear eastwards during Tuesday, with brief sunny spells and blustery showers following for many.
“Feeling cool in the strong winds, with the risk of gales.
“Wednesday will see a brief drier and brighter interlude, before rain spreads in from the southwest later and into Thursday.
“Briefly drier and brighter on Friday, before rain arrives later”.
