Last week Merseyside saw scorching temperatures of 27C as warm air from Spain reached the UK.
With the warm weather came a risk of thunderstorms as severe weather warnings for heavy rain were issued.
However, this week is much different story, as a change in wind direction will result in cooler cloudier weather.

Winds from the west will make temperatures take a bit of tumble on Merseyside by Thursday to around 19C.
By the weekend the weather will be feeling much fresher 15C, forecasters also predict it will be slightly drier week with little rain predicted.
The Met Office say: “Cloud will slowly thicken through Thursday, with odd spots of rain.
“Turning heavier for a time on Friday before clearing to sunnier skies and scattered showers for Saturday”.
