After a week of scorching temperatures, the weather has cooled down thanks to a series of weather fronts tracking across the UK.
Stormy weather from Southern Europe has brought cooler air and rain to Merseyside at times during the weekend and this is set to continue.
The weather on Bank Holiday Monday will be cloudy and cool with the chance of heavy rain.

The Met Office forecast reads: “Bank Holiday Monday will be cloudy, damp and rather humid with outbreaks of rain, which may become heavy at times.
“It should become drier and brighter towards Cheshire later. Humid. Maximum temperature 17 °C”.
