After a very warm week on Merseyside, which has seen temperatures near 17C, this weekend is set to see temperatures dip slightly.
The dip in temperatures is down to a change in wind direction from the east.
A change in the wind direction early next week will mean there’ll be a “cold-blip” in the temperatures through Sunday and into Monday pic.twitter.com/u4dIO55BlV

There will be some warm spells of sunshine during the day on Saturday, although local frost is possible overnight.
A cooler and cloudier day is expected than on Friday and temperatures will be around 13C.
Sunday will see the sunshine return, however, temperatures will still be around 13C
The cooler theme is expected to continue through next week with more dry weather.
The Met Office say: “It will be generally dry and settled through the start of next week, with lighter winds”.
