The colder Arctic air has burnt away this week, allowing milder winds from the south to warm up UK temperatures.
On Merseyside breaks in sunshine has seen the mercury creep up to 16C on Tuesday and this is set to continue through the first week of may.
On Wednesday Merseyside will see similar if not warmer temperatures, as the milder air holds its grip, with plenty of sunny spells.

The Met Office say: “It will be fine and dry with good spells of sunshine during Wednesday.
“It will feel pleasantly warm in the sunshine, although there will be a cool north-easterly breeze. Maximum temperature 17 °C”.
As the week progresses temperatures will cool down slightly, by the weekend it will feel closer to 13C.
The Met Office forecast reads: “It will stay mainly dry with sunny intervals but it will often be breezy.
“It will feel quite pleasant in the sunnier spells by day, but feeling chilly overnight”.
