After a very wet weekend, the weather isn’t set to improve through this week.
A number of weather fronts will track across the Atlantic bringing wind and rain to the UK and Merseyside.
There will be a lack of sunshine this week too as the frontal systems will bring cloud along with the unsettled weather.

However, a positive is that winds wont be coming from a colder easterly position, which means slightly milder temperatures of around 11C.
The Met Office say: “A mixture of sunshine and showers is likely on Wednesday with strong winds.
“Further spells of wet weather are likely on Thursday and Friday, however some brighter periods possible”.
