A town on Wirral has been voted the nicest place to live in the UK

The most desirable places to live in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland has been revealed.

The study was carried out by the Centre for Economic and Business Research and the Royal Mail and looked at factors such as schools, parks and common working hours over two years.

The nicest places to live are Norwich, Bournemouth and the small and Bebington in the Wirral.

Research found Bebington is favourable due to prime access to good schools, plenty of open green space and great employment opportunities with a short commute.

A flat in Bebington usually costs around £84K compared to London’s equivalent £500k.
