Merseyside could see a repeat of storm Doris as further storms and snow are forecast in March

There’s a chance that Merseyside could see further storms and snow throughout March according to the Met Office long range forecast.

More frontal systems are forecast to move across the UK bringing bands of rain and strong winds at times, especially towards the end of the month, which could see more storms named.

There should also be some drier and brighter spells, where we may see some local frost and fog at times overnight.

Although temperatures are expected to be around normal for the time of year, there remains the possibility of seeing some prolonged colder periods, with a chance of snow in places.
