After a freezing week of weather that saw temperatures feeling closer to -4C, the weather is set to to warm up.
The increase in temperatures is all down to warmer air from southern europe making its way northwards over the UK.
By Wednesday temperatures are expected to be back into the low double figures making it feel much more milder on Merseyside.
Although the warmer weather, there is expected to be little sunshine throughout the week, as cloudier weather will dominate.

The Met office say: “Dry on Tuesday with sunny spells and gradually the wind will ease.
“Showery rain, heavy at times, spreading north-wards Wednesday, but becoming drier and brighter again on Thursday. Turning milder”.
