Merseyside has enjoyed much more bearable milder weather this week, but unfortunately it wont last very long.
The region had a break from the colder weather on Thursday, as temperatures managed to climb to near 13C.
Low pressure from the east was to blame for the milder weather as it drove warmer air from the west to the UK.
However, the weekend will see temperatures take a slight tumble to a much more chilly 6C and nighttime temperatures hitting as low as freezing.

The Met Office forecast reads: “Saturday is looking very unsettled with strong winds and rain at times.
“Sunday should be a little calmer with sunshine and showers before rain arrives from the west later Monday”.
