After a very cold few days on Merseyside were temperatures could only manage daytime temperatures of 2C, the weather is about about to make a better improvement.
The colder weather that we have seen over last few days is down to an increase in winds from southern europe, where temperatures have been extremely cold recently.
But low pressure from the east will drive warmer air from the west to arrive over the UK.
Even with the presence of an increase in wind and rain, milder temperatures are expected on Merseyside throughout the week.
Changeable is the way to describe our weather for next week, as we lose the cold air, replacing it with something milder from the Atlantic pic.twitter.com/qGPzQqbY4D

The Met Office say: “Mild and windy as we head into the new week, with spells of rain at times.
“However, Wednesday currently looks to be mainly dry and bright”.
