A large asteroid as set to pass earth next month, according to NASA.
Experts claim that if the 2.2km wide asteroid slammed into earth on 25th February it would create devastating results.
Conspiracy theorists are also claiming that NASA are hiding the truth and that on February 16th the huge lump of space rock could hit earth.
However, the asteroid which has been given the name 2016 WF9 will pass earth by a safe distance of 32 million miles.
Ok so this asteroid ‘news’! It WILL NOT hit Earth, it will miss by about 51 million km (a long way)! Please RT and stop people worrying

In a statement NASA said: “2016 WF9 will approach Earth’s orbit on February 25, 2017.
“At a distance of nearly 32 million miles from Earth, this pass will not bring it particularly close.
“The trajectory of 2016 WF9 is well understood, and the object is not a threat to Earth for the foreseeable future.”
